 I first started out taking photos of my kids participating in team sports.  I found that I really enjoy capturing all the expressions of competition and it became my passion for many years! 

 I then became interested in taking senior class photos for family members and others.  I have also done some engagement photos as well.  I really try to make the senior or engaged couple feel comfortable so that this comes across in the photo.  I can see the beauty in every face and strive to highlight that in the photos I take. 

 I became interested in doing something a little more artistic and became involved with the group, Art on the Bluffs, Inc.  This is a group that has been putting on an annual art walk for about 7 years.  I created a series of photos in honor of my husband, who was diagnosed with lung cancer 5 years ago.  The series of photos is called "Hope is everywhere" and showcase inspirational landscapes or scenes that intend to uplift the viewers spirit.  

I will be a grandmother in a few weeks and am looking very forward to taking photos of newborn babies...I think this will open up a whole new venue for me!
